  1. Gayle Korte

In the fall of 1968 our university chorus sang a version of “I thank you God for most this amazing day,” which I remembered as being your composition.

Was this your composition? If so, how could I obtain a copy?

  2. I am wondering whether John Rutter has any plans to conduct a concert anywhere in the US during the coming year? It would be wonderful if he would — so many people would love to see him!! Two of his pieces are part of my choral group’s holiday concert. I thank him for all the wonderful hours and days of enjoyment his music has brought me, both in performing it and listening to it.

All the very best to him for a Happy Holiday Season!

  3. Jayne Strand

I am trying to find a copy of the arrangement of The Christmas Song, that was sung by the Bach Choir on the Colours of Christmas Album. Could you please advise if it is available?
I have spoken to Penny from the Bach Choir and she suggested that I contact you to ask if it is possible to purchase or hire a copy.
    Many thanks

  4. John

Dear Steve – I have passed your message on to John. He’ll be in touch with you soon, no doubt.
    Thanks, Emma

  5. Flavia Mussio

    Dear John

I heard A Virgin Most Pure on the radio (Toronto) and now cannot get enough of it. Have tried going on but not sure which version I should get.

    1. Have you recorded this yourself, and if so how can I purchase it?
    2. Do you plan on touring in Toronto?!

    Many thanks

    • John

      Dear Flavia –
We have recorded ‘A Virgin Most Pure’ with the Cambridge Singers. Please visit our store on and search for COLCD 106 – Christmas Night.
      Regards, Emma Harrison

  6. Vicki Harrison

Why can’t I see the listing on the new album?

  7. Happy Birthday John and many more!!!!
With love and fond memories of the many Concerts you
conducted at our Church in London, Ontario Canada

  8. I spoke to John at the singing day with EAC in Reigate on Saturday. I chair the West Sussex Phil and we do quite a lot of fund raising for hospices.
We were talking about the possibility of his running one of his days in the Horsham area of Sussex that we could use to raise funds for Chestnut Tree House, a childrens hospice near Arundel in West Sussex. He asked me to get in touch via his web site and this is the most suitable (for me!!) part of the site.

    • John

Hi Duncan – if you send your query to, John will see it. Many thanks, Emma Harrison

  9. John Brendan Winters

Is John Rutter ever coming back to Chicago, IL? Better still is there any hope of a tour by him and the Cambridge Singers?

    • John

Hello John – there are no plans at present, but if you look at the Appearance Diary on this website, it is updated regularly. The Cambridge Singers do not tour – they come together to make recordings for John from time to time though. Thanks, Emma Harrison
